West Coast Swing DC
West Coast Swing DC is a dance that come from the USA. This is an evolution of Lindy Hop: both became separate dances practising on different songs. WCS is danced to music Blues, Jazz, rather than the early 20th century. In recent years, WCS has evolved into music more modern opposite the Blues. Today WCS is danced almost all music such as Rock n Roll, Disco, Funk, the House, the Dance Hall, RnB . It is accessible by a public wide as dancers all generations can mix and it addresses both the break dancers / hip hop as rockers, not to mention the salseros ballroom dancers.
Where is that from?
West Coast Swing stems from the Lindy Hop, the first dance at two codified. In the 1950s the professor Skippy Blair, the registrant of the current program that teaches about the West Coast of the United States, hence its name.
For who?
Cool as can be, the West Coast Swing attracted a large audience aged 7 to 77 years.
