West Coast Swing Toronto

West Coast swing is one of the most popular forms of swing to date. The West Coast Swing is a very flexible partner dance that leaves a lot to the improvisation of both partners. You can dance West Coast to a wide range of musical styles: pop, dance, funk, electro, RnB, blues and more. This is probably one of the many reasons the appeal to learn West Coast Swing is so high!

Origins Of West Coast Swing Dance

Before the late 1950s, the beginnings of rock ‘n’ roll became more popular for dancing West Coast Swing. In the mid 1970s, West Coast Swing became very famous among all generations, from youngsters to the young at heart. In practice, you can dance West Coast Swing to just about any music in 4/4 tempo and music of different styles, as discussed above.
